No. In fairness to all customers, each participant must be a paying attendee.

Can I bring my own camera to the Film Photography & Developing Basics workshop?

We encourage our participants to use the fully manual film camera provided (Pentax K-1000). You can bring your own camera, however, a basic understanding of its function is required. We also recommend testing the camera before workshop commencement date to avoid disappointing outcomes.

Can I bring my own negatives to the Darkroom Printing Basics workshop?

Yes. We can work with either 35mm or 120mm black and white negatives.

Can I organise a workshop outside your normal hours of operation?

Yes! We encourage all enquiries big or small through our Contact page.

Can I do the Film Photography & Developing and Darkroom Printing Basics workshops on the same day?

We do not currently schedule two workshops on the same day. We do however recommend doing the two workshops within a relatively short time of each other – our regular program has them scheduled on consecutive weekends.

What to bring

Warm clothing, a rain jacket and comfortable walking shoes. Parts of the Film Photography & Developing Basics workshop take place outdoors. Depending on the season an umbrella is also recommended. All other materials and equipment needed for the course will be provided.
