Melbourne exhibition space
The Fox Gallery is a Melbourne exhibition space, which provides opportunities for both emerging and established photographers to share work that deserves to be seen. Works exhibited range from photo documentaries to journals, travel photography and alternative methods. Operating primarily as a rental venue, The Fox Gallery is a platform for artists to further their reach, and to foster public engagement with photography as a powerful and relatable storytelling medium.
The Fox Gallery was born out of The Fox Darkroom, which since 2014 has served a growing body of professional and hobbyist photographers with a passion for analog craft. Both are located in the recently restored Young Husband Wool Store in Kensington: a building originally built in the late 1800s which is now home to a vibrant community of artists, musicians, designers and makers.
