‘The Space In Between’ is the product of a 3000km journey undertaken by documentary photographer Nick Hinch. Tracing a country of snow covered roads, carved out of volcanic rock between mountain and sea, the series explores the traces of modern life in a vast and unforgiving Icelandic landscape where signs of humanity are often more visible than life itself.
The series showcases a series of large format prints highlighting the vastitude of the landscape. Imagery was produced with both colour and black and white film photography during an expedition in early 2018.
We look forward to celebrating with you at the opening.
